Parliament House of India – New Delhi | Architecture & Attractions Around it

Parliament House of India in New Delhi is an important destination of political scenario. Moreover,  Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker designed and constructed this building in 1912-1913 and 1921 respectively.

 Governor General Lord Irwin first inaugurated Parliament House after its construction 1927. In fact, it is constructed near to the Rashtrapati Bhavan at Janpath. Also, India Gate is the closest attraction from where Parliament House is visible.

Furthermore, it is not always allotted for visitors to enter but can be done after issuing a pass.

Also, the pass is valid only for (1 hour) one of the two houses; Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha, after phases of restricted checking.

How to reach?

• Metro station: Central Secretariat (Yellow line), walking distance from metro.
• Also, Buses and autos are not allowed in front of the area.
• In addition, Entry ticket of 10 bugs with opening hours of 11am to 5pm (closed on Sundays & Mondays).
